About Teacher Manon
Who am I?
I'm Manon, a passionate language enthusiast, educator, and world traveler. My journey—both academic and professional—has been anything but ordinary. Over the years, I’ve developed an immersive and interactive approach to teaching French as a foreign language (FLE), blending storytelling, culture, and adventure.
🎓 An Academic Path Rooted in Languages & Culture
Words have always been my playground. After completing an intensive Literary Prepa (French, History, Philosophy, Geography, and Languages: English, German, Spanish, Latin, Greek), I graduated with highest honors in the French Baccalaureate before earning a Bachelor’s in Social Sciences and a Master’s in Culture & Creative Industries from Sciences Po. I also studied International Studies at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, Greece.
A polyglot at heart, I speak French, English, and Spanish (C2), German (B1), and have a foundation in Greek, Croatian, Portuguese, and Polish (A1). To me, languages are more than communication tools—they are bridges to new worlds.
👩🏫 5+ Years of Teaching Experience
My professional journey started with children, working in summer camps and youth programs, before shifting to tourism and gastronomy. But teaching has always been my true calling! Over the past five years, I have taught more than 3,500 lessons to students from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Spain, the USA, Argentina, Canada, Austria, and the UK. My approach? Immersion, interaction, and the joy of learning. Click here to take classes with me!
📚 The FLE Library
In 2024, a simple conversation changed everything. A fellow teacher I was mentoring said: "Well, it's easy for you—you already have all your materials!" That’s when I realized the wealth of resources I had built over the years. This led to the creation of The FLE Library, a project dedicated to high-quality, interactive learning materials. Today, I collaborate with Zoé (FLE Factory) and Lucile (French for Nerd) to develop innovative resources for students and teachers alike.
🔥 My Inspirations
My grandfather, who turned every trip into a treasure hunt, instilled in me a love for adventure and playful learning—values I now bring to my teaching. I also draw inspiration from Nota Bene, whose engaging storytelling proves that knowledge can be as entertaining as it is enriching.
✈️ 10 Years of Travel & Exploration
From Greece to Argentina, Mexico, Peru, the Philippines, Thailand, the US, Ireland, and across Europe, travel has been my greatest teacher. Every place I’ve visited has shaped my perspective, enriched my lessons, and fueled my passion for cultural immersion.
